About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Williams Food Equipment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice and guidance on our products and services.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers with purchasing decisions, including estimating prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring that it is accurately priced and presented.
  • Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions, including processing payments and providing change.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 16 to 32 hours per week.
