Senior Surface Land Administrator

Progress Land Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surface Land Administrator to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our land services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize PLS Land Data Management System to manage land data and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and process surface leases, right of way agreements, and other land-related documents.
  • Apply and process Crown Land dispositions, and manage third-party requests and agreements.
  • Update and maintain land data for survey, construction, and third-party line lists.
  • Ensure all documentation is saved correctly and administered according to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide professional and effective correspondence with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, surveyors, and industry peers.
  • Maintain project checklists to ensure files are up-to-date and complete.
  • Register rights at LTO offices and manage payments to landowners and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and assemble final packages digitally and in paper form for clients.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Land Administration certificate or equivalent experience in a Land Administration position.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Alberta Commissioners for Oaths appointment, and knowledge of other provinces' requirements.
  • Knowledge of Spin II, ETS systems, AER OneStop, AEP EDS system, BCER Applications, ILRR, myLTSA, CORES, and ISC.
  • Familiarity with First Nations/Metis Consultation process and Regulatory Acts and their corresponding guidelines.
