Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Operations to join our team at Ville de Pointe-Claire. As a key member of our Public Works and Buildings department, you will be responsible for ensuring the longevity and proper functioning of all public facilities, equipment, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Director - Public Works, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our public facilities and buildings.
  • You will work closely with our maintenance teams to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, with a focus on sustainable development and improving citizens' quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our operations align with the overall goals and objectives of the municipality.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably in a public sector setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
