About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at World of Advertising Inc. as a Marketing and Communications Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies

Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our events and services, including the development of marketing materials, social media campaigns, and public relations activities.

Coordinate Conference and Meeting Activities

Oversee the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and other events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and logistics.

Manage Budgets and Finances

Prepare and manage budgets for events, including vendor contracts, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Supervise Staff and Volunteers

Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers as needed to support event planning and execution.

Coordinate Media Services

Arrange for media services, including audio-visual equipment, lighting, and sound.

Confirm and Coordinate Speakers

Confirm and coordinate speaker arrangements, including travel and accommodation arrangements.

Plan and Arrange for Trade Shows and Exhibits

Plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits, including booth design, logistics, and staffing.

Develop Registration Systems and Information Materials

Design and implement registration systems and information materials, including websites, brochures, and email communications.

Research and Design Special Events Programs

Research and design special events programs, including theme development, entertainment, and catering.

Plan for Social Events and Guest Programs

Plan and arrange for social events and guest programs, including hospitality, transportation, and accommodations.

Develop Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures for event planning and execution, including risk management and emergency response plans.

Identify Human Resources Requirements

Identify and recommend human resources requirements for event planning and execution, including staffing, training, and equipment needs.
