Logistics Coordinator

At Expert Electrical Ltd, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient shipping method for our goods.
- Schedule Distribution: Plan and coordinate the distribution of goods to our customers and partners.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Inspect and Verify Goods: Inspect incoming goods against invoices and other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
- Route Goods: Route goods to the appropriate storage areas and ensure they are properly labeled and tracked.
- Unpack and Inspect Goods: Unpack and inspect goods received to ensure they are in good condition and meet our quality standards.
- Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, reliable, team player.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
