Role and Responsibilities

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing an academic degree in a relevant field.

As a member of our deployment team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, analyzing requirements and preparing simulator configurations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing project requirements and preparing simulator configurations.
  • Performing SW-HW integration on various systems and aircraft types in parallel.
  • Ensuring systems readiness for acceptances.
  • Providing technical support during acceptances and qualification of deployed projects.
  • Identifying and fixing HW and SW problems in collaboration with engineers and technicians.
  • Interacting with customers, aircrews, and engineers from all CAE departments.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and control theory.
  • Strong H/W and S/W troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of C programming language in Linux and Windows environments, with FORTRAN an asset.
  • Experience with various simulator performance systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems is an asset.
  • Demonstrated project ownership and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Pro-active, flexible, and team-oriented.
  • Availability to travel to various locations for on-site work.
  • Knowledge of CAE's simulation technologies is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing a university degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related field.
