Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Education Program Coordinator. This is a summer student position that will provide support to our Program Manager in the development and implementation of programs that increase awareness and education of welding to encourage more individuals to explore careers in welding and other skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and disseminate all internal and external materials related to program planning and delivery.
- Liaise with host organizations to collect signed documentation and support program planning.
- Assist with program marketing and promotion activities.
- Research events and activities in defined regions to identify opportunities to deliver CWBWF programs.
- Enter program data into various databases using CRM and Microsoft Office suite.
- Act as CWBWF representative contact during program delivery and events.
- Coordinate activities to support delivery of camps and programs.
- Photograph camp activities for promotion purposes.
- Compile program statistics and reports to Program Manager.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in welding, welding technology, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy of work.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year customer service experience, plus project management experience or knowledge.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Project management experience or related courses.
- Experience in database management systems.
- Knowledge of skilled trades, including apprenticeship.
