iGaming Ontario spearheads the Province of Ontario's innovative online gaming sector, which has shown remarkable growth, generating substantial total wagers and significant gaming revenue from numerous operators.
In its second year, the Ontario online gaming market has supported a considerable number of full-time equivalent positions across the province. iGaming Ontario is committed to its vision of establishing the premier gaming market globally.
Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer will deliver strategic vision and leadership across iGaming Ontario's financial, enterprise risk management, internal audit, facilities, and procurement operations.
As a pivotal member of the senior leadership team, this role reports directly to the Executive Director, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer.
As an innovative and motivational leader, you will cultivate a management team within your division and work collaboratively with fellow senior leaders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer will serve as a primary liaison for stakeholders, including the Ministry of the Attorney General, representing our shareholder, the Government of Ontario, gaming operators, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, our parent agency and regulatory body.
Senior Leadership Experience:
Proven track record in a senior leadership capacity, with expertise in advising and influencing peers, and demonstrating innovative and creative thinking.
Industry Expertise:
Extensive background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance matters specific to the gaming sector.
A degree in business administration or a related discipline is required; iGaming Ontario has instituted a minimum in-office presence of three days per week.
