About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ANC Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our General Manager to develop and implement effective logistics strategies.
  • Manage and oversee the daily duties of Forklift Operators, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor adherence to processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges as they arise, reporting unresolved issues to the General Manager.
  • Act as a liaison between Administration, General Manager, and Operators to facilitate effective communication and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Collect and organize paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and validate information in the WMS system, addressing and rectifying any discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist in training operators in new practices and motorized procedures, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Operate powered forklift equipment for various tasks such as unloading, moving, stacking, and loading products, ensuring safety compliance and adhering to company policies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories and gather inventory data as required, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse area, including general maintenance and organization, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Handle medium to heavy physical demands, including lifting, and prioritize safety by promptly identifying and reporting potential hazards.
  • Adhere to ANC Modular Inc Ontario Health and Safety Association, and MSDS safety standards, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in logistics or warehouse coordination, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in operating forklift equipment and related tools, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct physical inventories and manage paperwork, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical endurance for medium to heavy lifting, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and standards, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and company policies.
