Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and Operate Ramp-Servicing Vehicles and Equipment: Safely operate and maintain various types of vehicles and equipment used for ramp servicing.
  • Load Cargo and Passenger Baggage: Load cargo and passenger baggage efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely departure of aircraft.
  • Sort Cargo and Passenger Baggage: Sort cargo and passenger baggage according to instructions, ensuring that all items are properly loaded and secured.
  • Position Passenger Loading Stairs and Operate Aircraft Cargo Doors: Position passenger loading stairs and operate aircraft cargo doors, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of passengers and cargo.
  • Coordinate Activities with Other Work Units or Departments: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of airport operations.
  • Ensure Smooth Operation of Computer Equipment and Machinery: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used for ramp servicing.
  • Unload, Sort, and Route Cargo and Passenger Baggage: Unload, sort, and route cargo and passenger baggage, ensuring timely delivery to their destinations.
  • Transport Freight between Aircraft and Airport Warehouse: Transport freight between aircraft and airport warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient handling of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors, at heights.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
