We currently have urgent openings for Welders in the Burlington area.

Compensation: $ /hr + 4% vacation pay

Work Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics and take measurements to plan layouts and procedures
  • Select the appropriate welding equipment or technique based on project specifications
  • Prepare components for welding according to outlined specifications (e.g., cutting materials with powered saws to match measurements)
  • Utilize angle grinders to prepare parts for welding
  • Align components using measuring tools and secure pieces
  • Execute welding tasks using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various orientations (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
  • Repair machinery and other components through welding and filling gaps
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects
  • Maintain equipment in a safe and operational condition

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a welder
  • Familiarity with a variety of welding techniques and equipment
  • Experience with both electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to using protective gear (face shield, gloves, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and dexterity
  • Proficient in English
  • Professional certification is a plus

License/Certification:
