Clinical Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Project Lead to join our team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and leading program improvement and development activities, embedding clinical best practices, and collaborating with interprofessional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a detailed project plan that identifies and addresses activities, timelines, linkages, risks, communications, and financial/staff resources required to support the successful implementation of key deliverables.
- Analyze and prepare process/workflow documentation.
- Formulate and define systems scope and project objectives through research activities.
- Manage the project team and the day-to-day implementation of the approved project plan, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and communications.
- Participate in and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations related to requirements gathering, scope definition, and scope delivery.
- Support the development of change management strategies and plans, legislative/regulatory changes, and new or potential transformation opportunities.
- Identify issues as they arise, developing and recommending solutions that are consistent with the project plan.
- Regularly review project risks and develop risk responses and mitigation strategies for any new high-level risks.
- Develop and review relevant user training documentation.
- Create and maintain project-related documentation, including information architecture diagrams, user stories, user journeys, risk registry, WBS, quality and change management plans, issues log, status and progress reports, communications plan, acceptance documents, standard operation procedures, and lessons learned.
- Degree or diploma in engineering, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Accreditation.
- Previous experience in project management or a blend of functional management and project management experience, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated professional, leadership, and operations experience working in various sectors of the healthcare system.
- Solid understanding of the Ontario healthcare system, its stakeholders, and programs.
- Other certification (Lean/Six Sigma, ITIL, Change Management) is an asset.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project is an asset.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx is an asset.
- Basic understanding of enterprise resource planning concepts and processes is an asset.
