Information Specialist - Student Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our diverse student population. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for students seeking guidance on academic programs, enrollment processes, and other essential college services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive information and guidance to students regarding academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid, and student life resources.
  • Assist students with navigating the college's online systems and platforms, including registration, course selection, and grade inquiries.
  • Resolve student inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and departments to ensure seamless student support services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of student information initiatives and resources.
Qualifications:
  • A three-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business Administration, Marketing, Community Services, Public Relations, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of practical experience working in a high-volume customer service environment, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
