Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Experts in Transportation Climate Control Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install refrigeration systems, including equipment and components
  • Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and repairing leaks
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Start up and test refrigeration systems for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant and checking regulators
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Willing to relocate
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a cold/refrigerated environment and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. The ability to work in a team environment and have good attention to detail is essential.

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a cold/refrigerated environment and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
