Job Summary

As a Cross-Border Long-Haul Class 1/AZ Driver with Bison Transport, you will be responsible for running open-board Canada/U.S. long-haul routes. This role requires a valid FAST card and the ability to drive in the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive tractor-trailer units on long-haul routes across the Canada/U.S. border
  • Meet or exceed safety and productivity standards
  • Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1/AZ license
  • Valid FAST card
  • Eligible to drive in the U.S.
  • Ability to drive in California and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
  • Ability to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
