Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockperson/Cartpusher to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Stockperson/Cartpusher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and return shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter to a safe storage location, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  2. Respond promptly to customer requests at all registers, safely assisting with carry outs or carry ins, and verifying receipts for proof of purchase.
  3. Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handling chemicals, and following correct disposal procedures, as well as using power equipment and completing inspection reports.
  4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
  6. Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to Company policy and procedures.
  7. Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection for visibility.
  8. Complete safety sweeps as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be physically able to lift and move carts, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
