Crystal Claire Cosmetics Inc is seeking a highly skilled Automation Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our internal clients by designing, building, and testing automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, commission, and test automation equipment, including assembly lines and robotic cells.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate various engineering projects, manufacturing processes, and quality control measures.
  • Apply engineering principles and procedures to design and develop automation systems, including PLC/HMI, control panels, and electric safety.
  • Organize and document technical design reviews and project management overviews.
  • Study existing equipment statistics and provide recommendations for improving sales and production goals.
  • Perform hands-on electric/electronic installation, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Design mechanical drive train systems, including stepper motors, servo motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with software engineers to develop and maintain hardware/software interfacing software.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a custom automated equipment builder work environment.
  • Good working knowledge of hardware/software interfacing.
  • Familiarity with industry policies and procedures to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle a fast-changing workload.
  • C++ and Linux experience is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Strong team player and excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
