We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratories Team Member. This is a 12-month contract position that requires a strong background in materials science and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sample preparation and material analysis using various techniques, including X-ray fluorescence, optical emission spectroscopy, and tensile testing.
- Work in a team environment to provide testing services to our business units for process control and product certification.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to meet the requirements of TS16949 and ISO17025.
- Collaborate with experienced laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, such as materials science, chemistry, or mechanical engineering.
- Related co-op placements or 1 year of related industrial experience is beneficial.
- Valid Class G driver's license.
This is a laboratory and industrial shop environment that requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
