About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our Detection Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the right products are built in the right order and that the release is developed on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to the IT security monitoring team by directing technical directions, strategies, and guidelines related to IT security monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain multiple IT security technology platforms: SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA.
  • Identify threats and recommend use cases in collaboration with internal incident/threat response teams and implement solutions in SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA platforms.
  • Be responsible for ensuring consistency between products: SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA plan forms and processes.
  • Manage activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the product catalog while aligning with the IT security monitoring roadmap and strategy.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with a SIEM such as Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience in SOAR automation.
  • Experience in UEBA.
  • Extensive understanding of Kafka.
  • Understanding of Linux terminal.
  • 8 to 10 years in cybersecurity or devops or infrastructure team.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP, UEBA).
  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO I, PSPO II) will be considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of the Agile development process and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
