- Oversee the construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of pilot plants, processing units, or processing plants to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Commission systems and components to ensure that they are functioning properly and safely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Prepare design concepts, sketches, or models for approval and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
