About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Wesbell Communications Inc. as a Telecommunications Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in drafting and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings for telecommunications projects
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications for construction projects
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for telecommunications infrastructure
  • Write technical specifications for telecommunications equipment and systems
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for telecommunications projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or architecture
  • 2-3 years of experience in drafting and design, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
