Job Summary

MR. GARBAGE CORP. is seeking a skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of waste in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a garbage truck to collect waste from various locations
  • Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to odours and wet/damp conditions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime as required
  • Physically demanding work, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with regular exposure to different locations and tasks.
