About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists
  • Assist health care professionals in delivering patient care and rehabilitation programs
  • Supervise technical and support staff, ensuring efficient and safe working practices
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, and lay out surgical instruments
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation, adhering to standardized safety practices
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs, and maintain clinical and progress reports
  • Process claims and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Confer with other health professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
