We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team This position will be responsible for coordinating production teams, including the daily organization of crew tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and be results-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production teams to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Train new employees in role-specific tasks and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are adhered to, and conduct ongoing safety training and hazard assessments as needed.
- Demonstrate and initiate continuous improvement activities and work habits.
- Be the first point of contact for employee concerns and needs, and redirect as needed.
- Perform assembly line production tasks as required.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in production assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Leadership experience at a working lead hand level.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to train, mentor, and coach others.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including safety and quality standards.
Additional Requirements:
- Physical fitness, energy, and self-motivation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Safety-first mindset and understanding of the importance of upholding safety standards.
- Comfortable using computers and navigating systems efficiently.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen) and manufacturing concepts.
