About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Application Architect to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our application development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure and architecture to support application development and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to ensure our solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in application architecture and development, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Significant experience working with Microsoft Azure, including experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
