Bilingual Insurance Account Manager

We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of growth and excellence, and we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Bilingual Insurance Account Manager to enhance our Ontario distribution team.

About the Role:

The Bilingual Insurance Account Manager will report directly to the Distribution Manager (East) and will be responsible for managing a designated portfolio of clients. This role encompasses both sales and service elements, with a primary focus on client retention and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients' insurance requirements and provide tailored advice to ensure their needs are met.
  • Offer solutions that align with clients' evolving insurance demands while complying with the underwriting standards set by our insurance partners.
  • Proactively seek client referrals from the assigned portfolio.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to online inquiries efficiently.
  • Prepare quotations and conduct follow-ups with leads to secure new business (home, auto, small business).
  • Ensure prompt responses when modifying or adding coverage to existing client policies.
  • Provide claims guidance within the parameters established by our insurance carriers.
  • Maintain proficiency in Surex carrier portals, broker management systems, and policy management systems.
  • Engage in continuous sales and service training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must possess RIBO Level 1 or 2 License.
  • 1-3 years of experience in brokerage or a related field.
  • Proficient in Powerbroker software.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly approach.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills; familiarity with Google Suite is an asset.
