Hydrogeology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our environmental services team in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of projects related to hydrogeologic assessments and groundwater supply development.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hydrogeologic assessments and groundwater supply development projects
- Ensure safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies
- Organize field investigations, including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight
- Design and construction of groundwater monitoring wells and groundwater supply wells
- Develop conceptual site hydrogeologic understanding
- Analyze and interpret data, including pumping test results and aquifer response
- Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and analytical results
- Assist project managers with developing project budgets and schedules
- Travel to various field sites, with occasional overnight travel
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with others
- Ability to meet high-quality results and work under little supervision
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Disciplined approach to project execution and technical excellence
- Participation in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures
Post-secondary educational background in Geoscience or Engineering, with an emphasis on hydrogeology. A minimum of 3 years of professional hydrogeology experience and existing professional registration or ability to work towards a professional registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
Salary Range: $84,500 - $122,400 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision plans, a well-being program, and paid time off.
Primary Location: Canada-British Columbia-Burnaby. Other locations include Canada-British Columbia-Kelowna, Canada-British Columbia-Vancouver, Canada-British Columbia-Sidney, Canada-British Columbia-Quesnel, Canada-British Columbia-Kamloops, and Canada-British Columbia-Prince George.
Employee Status: Regular. Job Level: Individual Contributor. Travel: Yes, 10% of the time. Schedule: Full-time.
