Position Overview:

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at a prestigious pediatric hospital in Toronto is seeking qualified Radiologists for a full-time, permanent faculty role in Pediatric Radiology, specifically within the General Pediatric Radiology division.

Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal applicant must possess an M.D. or equivalent qualification, be board-certified in radiology, and have completed a fellowship with clinical experience in pediatric radiology from a reputable institution. Comprehensive experience in all facets of general pediatric radiology, including conventional radiographs, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, CT, and body magnetic resonance imaging, is essential. A strong interest in musculoskeletal imaging will be considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in contemporary pediatric imaging practices, with a focus on innovative professional activities and a robust academic background in research and education.

Collaborative Environment:

The General Pediatric Radiology Division operates in close collaboration with other divisions within the department, including Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology/IGT, and Nuclear Medicine, as well as various pediatric medical and surgical disciplines. The department boasts a strong educational framework, training approximately 15 Pediatric Fellows annually and hosting 4 to 6 Radiology Residents from the affiliated university.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $380,000 to $475,000
