The selected candidate will collaborate with all members of the labour and employment division, providing legal opinions and managing employment-related cases.

Field Law serves a diverse clientele in matters related to labour, employment, immigration, privacy, human rights, and occupational health and safety across Western Canada. Our clients include small to mid-sized enterprises, large public sector organizations, educational institutions, and professional associations facing challenges with both unionized and non-unionized workforces.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in most or all of the following areas:

  • Labour board grievance arbitration;
  • Employment advisory services, including policies, contracts, discipline, and termination;
  • Litigation related to wrongful dismissal; and
  • Advisory services for human rights commissions.
  • A strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit.
Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant will be a lawyer with:

  • 4-5 years of post-call experience
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
  • A client-focused approach to legal practice
