Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join their team at their Co-op Service Centre.

About the Role

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of light to medium duty vehicles.
  • Communicate with colleagues about the status of vehicles to keep customers informed.
  • Use computerized testing equipment to conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.

Accountability

  • The Automotive Service Technician will report directly to the Service Centre Manager.
  • To align objectives with Federated Co-operatives Limited shared values, purpose, and vision.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A valid high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Apprentice or Ticket/Red Seal Certification.
  • Preference will be given to 3rd/4th-year apprentice or Journeyman.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written communication).
  • High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and be responsible.
