AIG is seeking a skilled Trade Credit Underwriter to join our team. As a Trade Credit Underwriter, you will play a critical role in helping our customers manage risk and achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform credit reviews and rating recommendations for large buyer portfolios, ensuring compliance with AIG's credit risk management policies.
- Collaborate with underwriters to provide expert credit analysis and risk assessment, supporting informed business decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure seamless communication and risk management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in trade credit and risk management, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and minimize risk.
- Contribute to the development of trade credit policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with AIG's risk management framework.
- 5+ years of experience in trade credit, risk management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of credit risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Proven expertise in credit risk management software, tools, and systems, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of trade credit, risk management, and industry trends.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
- A competitive salary range of $81,000 - $109,000, depending on location and experience.
