About the Role

Pacific Canadian Consultancy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing web applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Consult with clients to understand their website requirements and document them accurately.
  • Design and Development: Prepare mock-ups and storyboards, source and select information for inclusion, and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
  • Technical Expertise: Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to clients and team members.
  • Content Creation: Create and optimize content for the website using various graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets the required standards.
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
