Join Our Team as a Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team at Bureau Veritas Laboratories. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the pre-processing of samples and perform various analyses to ensure the highest quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general support in the pre-processing of samples and perform certain analysis
  • General lab support including sort and distribute, pre-processing of samples, weighing and analysis
  • Ensure that cross contamination/labeling between samples and other materials does not occur
  • Use summary reports to plan and organize work
  • Prioritize jobs according to Rush and client specific deadlines
  • Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations
  • Follow SAIL and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work
  • Keep their work area clean, neat and organized
  • Provide support to other members of the section
  • Retrieve samples required for reworks or customer/ lab requests
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor
Requirements:
  • You possess a College Diploma
  • You have basic computer skills
  • You have a positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You possess good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • You are detail-oriented and possess record keeping skills
  • You learn quickly
  • You are able to adapt to a changing environment
  • You are able to lift and carry up to 40lbs

All candidates must be flexible to any shift changes as well as weekends.
