About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Helper to join our team at Platinum Transport Group Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist diesel mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public during surveying activities.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Dental plan and permanent employment with 40 to 50 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of work.
