Educational Resource Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Resource Worker to join our team at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
About the Role:The Educational Resource Worker will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a strong understanding of inclusive education practices and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA), or equivalent as deemed by the Employer. A Secondary school diploma with entry-level knowledge of ECE practices is also acceptable. Additional qualifications and experience are an asset.
