Morrison Hershfield, now part of Stantec, is seeking a skilled Checker and Scaleperson to support our Horizontal Infrastructure team on a short-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record the weight of loaded asphalt trucks at the asphalt plant or by the paver.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of asphalt quantities.

Requirements:

  • Previous construction experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Location: Projects are located in various areas of Alberta, including Oyen, Empress, Mulhurst, Warburg, Elk Point, Myrnam, and Wainwright. Please specify your preferred location in the additional questionnaire.

Training will be provided: No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)
