Gas Fitter Apprentice Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to assist our journeyman gasfitter with installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of heating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist journeyman gasfitter with installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of heating equipment
  • Assist with testing and replacement of defective heating equipment
  • Work independently with direction from journeyman gasfitter
  • Advise clients on safety features and maintenance of LP/NG heating equipment
  • Develop strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal resources
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a gas fitter apprenticeship program (asset)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair heating equipment
  • Experience with temporary construction heaters (asset)
  • Knowledge of designing and installing temporary heating systems (asset)
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and practices (asset)
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with abstract in good standing
