Position Overview

The Diesel Mechanic Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery. This position is essential for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal education, certification, or diploma is required.
Work Environment

This role involves working in various conditions, including:

  • Outdoor settings
  • Confined spaces
  • High noise levels
  • Dusty environments
  • Hot and humid conditions
  • Wet or damp areas
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in moving tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Support surveying activities by holding stakes.
  • Communicate safety protocols to colleagues and the public.
  • Provide assistance to tradespeople, apprentices, and other team members as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work areas.
Experience and Skills
