Job Summary

Driftwood Diamond Drilling Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine weldability of materials and ensure that all welding and fabrication work meets quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication, or equivalent experience.
