About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Ricky's All Day Grill. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance on food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special orders, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operations: Operate machinery, organize and maintain inventory, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
