About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Jocelyn and Christian Fernandez. As a Home Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision: Provide one-on-one care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Household Management: Manage household duties, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children.
  • Transportation: Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and supervision.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Availability: Availability to work 30 hours per week.
Work Environment

The Home Child Care Provider will work in a non-smoking environment, with access to public transportation.
