Job Title: Fabricator, Quartzware

Kanadario Stone Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fabricator, Quartzware to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fabricator, Quartzware to work with our team to create high-quality quartz and stone products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and polishing of quartz and stone, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone
  • Operate stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp
  • Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in fabrication and polishing of quartz and stone
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
