  • Sanitation and Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances
    • Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash on a regular basis
  • Food Handling and Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
    • Portion and wrap foods for serving
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in cooking
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good working condition
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
