Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach a course in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data preparation, data mining techniques, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver lectures on data analytics and cloud computing, including data preparation, data mining, and data visualization.
  • Design and implement assessments to evaluate student learning.
  • Provide feedback to students on their performance.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of data analytics and cloud computing.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in a field related to data analytics and cloud computing.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data preparation, data mining techniques, and data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching data analytics and cloud computing courses.
  • Strong background in data science and visualization.
  • Ability to design and implement assessments that evaluate student learning.
