Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our service sites and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel up to % of the time to support our service sites and construction projects
  • Perform skilled level blade composite maintenance and intermediate level wind turbine maintenance or installation tasks as assigned
  • Act as a safety role model and encourage others to practice safe acts
  • Identify gaps in safety standards and implement effective risk mitigation
  • Perform basic quality audits and assist with or perform quality control tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post high school education and two years wind industry experience preferred
  • Proven use and understanding of intermediate level power tools and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate working knowledge of industrial safety practices and protocols
  • Composite experience and rope access experience preferred
