We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team at Priority Patient Transfer Service. As a Patient Transfer Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport patients via stretcher and wheelchair to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transportation
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transfers
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices
- Standard First Aid with CPR + AED certification
- Minimum Class G driver's license with a clear Drivers Abstract
- Current immunization record, including COVID-19 vaccination
- Able to lift 250 lbs with a partner
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Competitive hourly rate
