About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Medical Device Reprocessing Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical and surgical supplies and instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of processing activities, including inventory management and supply chain logistics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure seamless processing and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in medical device reprocessing.
