About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at JAGMIT. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker with JAGMIT, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest level of care and support is provided.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
