Job Summary

Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are essential members of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and support. As a part-time Nurse Practitioner, you will work independently and as part of a broader care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations, to diagnose and treat patients within your scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and implement interventions to support patient health and stability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and make referrals as needed.
  • Facilitate patient transitions within and between healthcare settings, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and staff to promote health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with recent graduates also encouraged to apply.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or extended class (EC) licensure.
  • Current CNOR/CRNFA certification (if applicable).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Recent Criminal Record Check (CRC) via CSI Screening.
  • Eligibility for registration with the appropriate Provincial Regulatory College.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of clinical and non-clinical staff, with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
