Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Coordinator to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train staff to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Process electronic submission exception reports and verify confirmations on daily transmissions
  • Identify and resolve claims filing errors and take corrective action
  • Work with third-party denials and appeals to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Review and monitor claims and cases within the department

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC)
  • 2-3 years' experience in a medical business office or related field
  • Experience with claims adjudication process for multiple governmental agencies and private insurance carriers
  • Current CPT and ICD10 coding knowledge and basic medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising and motivating staff
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
